Timeline guide

How long does home staging take, and how long does it stay?

The full staging timeline for Lower Mainland sellers: quote within 24 hours, install in one to two days, a 6-week initial term, 4-week renewals and removal after completion.

In short

From first contact, you have a written quote within 24 hours, and installation typically takes one day for a condo and two for a larger home. The furniture then stays for a 6-week initial term, renewable in 4-week blocks if the home is still listed, and we remove everything once the sale completes.

How quickly can I get a quote?

Send the address, your target list date and a few photos or a floor plan through the quote form. A written package price, with what is included and a proposed install date, comes back within 24 hours. If you would like a designer to walk the home first, the $195 consultation adds a written room-by-room plan.

How long does the design and prep take?

Once the quote is accepted, our designers plan the furniture, art and accessories for each room and book the logistics: delivery, elevators and any strata coordination. We recommend booking two to three weeks ahead of your list date, and four or more in the spring and fall, so this stage never holds up your photographer.

How long does installation take?

Most condos are staged in one day. Larger homes take up to two. The crew delivers, places and styles every room in a single visit so the home is photo-ready when they leave, and we handle elevator bookings and building coordination for strata properties. Occupied staging is usually quicker again because most of the furniture is already in place. See vacant staging and occupied staging for what each install involves.

How long does the staging stay?

Every package includes a 6-week initial term. If the home is still on the market at the end of it, the staging renews in 4-week blocks: 4-week renewals at 40% off the initial furniture rental (delivery and staging fees are not charged again). Renewals continue for as long as you need, and you can end the rental with advance notice. Pricing for the initial term and renewals is set out in our staging cost guide.

When is the furniture removed?

After your sale completes. The furniture stays through the offer and subject-removal period so the home keeps showing well, and removal is scheduled around your completion date. Removal is included in the package; there is nothing to arrange beyond telling us the date.

What does the whole timeline look like?

  1. Day 0: you send the address and photos; we reply with a written quote within 24 hours.
  2. Before install: design, furniture selection and logistics; declutter using our staging checklist.
  3. Install day: one day for a condo, up to two for a larger home; photos can follow the same week.
  4. Weeks 1–6: the initial term, with the home listed and showing.
  5. If needed: 4-week renewals until the home sells.
  6. Completion: removal booked around your completion date.

Realtors who list regularly can shorten the front end further through our partner program, with one point of contact from quote to removal.
